February Wassup-dates:

I haven't really spoken out about the pending war because I just really didn't know if I was for or against it.... until today.  My reasons are totally selfish, but I'm wholly opposed to the war now because the Annapolis show may not be open to civilians with the pending war.  I called the ticket office and they said due to security reasons, civilians may or may not be allowed on base without a midshipman escort.  They are still deciding.  However, if civilians ARE allowed, tickets will go on sale March 10.  Damn you Dubya!  I already bought my plane ticket!

(And for those of you who think I'm serious about my opposition, please stab me in the eye now.  Sarcasm people!  Learn how to identify it!)

Alrighty folks!  I've got 4 3eb stickers up for grabs in the Caption Competition!  Hurry, your entry is due by Friday, 2/28!

Check out the new 3eb flash games that our buddy Sonia put together!  They're fun!

Our friend Mildred updated the 3eb bio so that all of the information is up-to-date, so make sure to check it out.  It's the most extensive 3ebio on the net!

Added a ton of new Angels.

Thanks to Kdawg for sending in this pic from the Grammies.

Make sure you watch the Grammies tomorrow!  SJ will be escorting his woman, the lovely and talented Ms. Vanessa Carlton, who is nominated for THREE Grammies: "Record of the Year", "Song of the Year" and "Best Arrangement". Three cheers for VC!

Didya rent Stephan's movie yet?  If not, head over to Blockbuster or whatever and rent it!  (Personally, I prefer Netflix.)  It's called Art of Revenge

Do you want to read the most well-written article on 3eb..ever?  They even spelled Tony's name right!  Read this by Bucknell University student press:

3eb's newest tour date is 4/4 at Bucknell Univ. in Lewisburg, PA.  Where the hell is that?  Click here.
(Thanks to Cool Svens who sent this info!)

Happy Valentime's Day from Jen and Mister

The JVC Audio folks were really awesome today and sent me all the pics of SJ from their ad photoshoot from a couple of months ago.  Check em out.  (I had to scratch and blur out his tag...)

Make sure to check the Tour section for the latest tour dates.  2 shows now planned for March!

Stephan was kind enough to email me a small update as to what's going on in the land of music making.  Here's some of what he says:

"hi ya, jen.
well here is the news: the album will indeed be in stores, april 29th. there will be a single out in march. sorry it took so long. i can't believe it took so long. weird. there will be a dvd along with it about the making. it will be called out of the vein, although many a fan seems upset that we changed it from crystal baller. i am happy as a clam and proud as a peach about this whole thing and i think we are going to put out several albums now. no more long pauses. i am done with those for rillla. i don't have a book right now. i am interested in getting the road to mecca in hopes of learning a little about what islam is so pissed about. vanessa is dandy and i will be going to the grammies with her on the 23rd, the day before i deliver the album to elektra. you will freak when you see this dvd."

Everybody jump around with me now!  New single in March, new album April 29.  And this time it's FOR REAL.  Celebrate!

If you missed SJ on HGTV, head over to Dalva's Wounded 3eb fan site and download the clip to play on your computer!  Thanks, Candice!

Catch Stephan on the next episode of "Curb Appeal" on HGTV.  February 08, 2003 4:30 PM EST

I'm smilin' so big right now.  Just got the new 7x7 mag in the mail, flipped to the column JT Leroy always writes and he has a big story about him and Stephan hanging out.  Good times.  You really should buy a subscription to this mag because:

1.  JT always writes a column in it
2.  Occasional 3eb mentions
3.  It's only $10 for the whole year!

Also, I'm looking for a new tabs guy to work on SJ.com and tab out all of the old and new songs for Out of the Vein once it comes out.  Ideally, I'd like to find someone who's been playing guitar for a long time and has a knack for figuring out 3eb tunings and such.  If you're interested, please email me and let's chat.
